Rocky Mountain Reproductive Symposium (RMRS) is an annual public conference that was launched in 2008 to foster regional interests in various aspects of reproductive sciences and to provide a forum for students, trainees, and professionals to interact and exchange ideas. Developed and hosted by the Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory, this symposium attracts participants from around the country every spring.
This conference brings together a diverse group of scientists to discuss advances in both human and animal reproduction that deepen our understanding of reproductive physiology. The one-day event focuses on student training, not only to significantly improve communication and idea sharing, but also to share resources and expertise across human and animal models. The symposium has led to the establishment of new collaborations between institutes to advance the field of reproductive sciences and is a great platform for student and fellow training.
All attendees (faculty, students, clinicians, research associates, etc.) are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentation. The top eight trainee abstracts will be selected for oral presentations (with ten minutes for presentation and five minutes for questions). Five trainees will be selected to present a 3 minute or less elevator pitch describing their research. All other abstracts will be presented as posters.
